Pepper Lunch is a Japanese chain restaurant that is popular in Hong Kong. This place is my usual suspect if I ran out of ideas while in Hong Kong. I think they only have one in Sydney...

Arguably the best (Chinese) bun in Sydney. They do have great buns so

Located in Mong Kok, this restaurant was awarded Michelin star last year. I arrived around 8.30am and I was not the first person there. The restaurant itself opens at 10am.
The food was very clean and solid. I didn't have to use sauce and the food was tasty by themselves. I could see the Michelin star calibre in such ordinary food (in Hong Kong). The food is considerably cheap.
It is a must visit, but prepare to queue.
